i have recently bought a 182 with the cup pack... i have noticed when i am manouvering in tight spaces and the steering is at fall lock there is a sort of knocking. you can feel it through the steering wheel... on normal driving it is fine... like i said it has the cup wheels with michelin...

it only does when i first get in to the car. once only then its fine. i read on the forum somewhere that it could be the abs doing a test?.. i dont know.
first time i use the clutch there seems to be no tension there. but as soon as i release it there is tension back.. then its fine. There is like a ratchet sound when i release for the first time. is this normal. its a 182 cup.
pepsi 69: That in the bottom right rear bumper is the fuelcap for lpg.
Alan : doesnt make the car any slower no loss of power. a little bit heavier but not anything you would notice.
i have just broken even now . with the cost of conversion. everything now saving me money on fuel costs. Edde you said your mate is also saving on road fund license. is he running a 172 also, as i am still paying full duty.

It costs £1300. it sounds alot. but when i had it done 15 months ago petrol was £1 a litre compared to 29 pence a litre lpg. i have now recooped the cost of the conversion and now i am saving money. and lets not forget it is better for the enviroment lol.
it dont make no difference to the performance. I had that worry before having it fitted. The guy who fitted it reasured me there would be no difference and he was right. the best thing is i can have a heavy right foot and not worry about the cost, as i only pay 32pence per litre.
i am thinking of selling my 2003 172, its the black model ,30.000 miles full dealer service history, lpg gas conversion very cheap to run. private plate H15 CLO will go with the car it looks like HIS CLIO with a liitle modification. I would like something around the 7.5k mark. what do you think.
evrytime i switch of my car the settings on my speedo display recets itself back to zero.apart from the miles. eg. trip, mpg. miles left to refuel ETC.ETC.:( can any one help.
i had that problem once my cd player drained the battery .and my central locking or alarm would not shut off. called the rac. had to open car manually and he put a pair of jump leads on . then i could stop the alarm . left it for a while to get a bit of charge in battery. then it started up. try...
hi mike i i was not happy with putting fifty pound a week in my clio. so i had a gas conversion done . now it costs fifty pounds a month to do the same milage. absolute bargain best move i ever made. cost £1299 though.
