A friend runs these on his Coupe, and also had the cracking problem. His tyres are current back at Federal being inspected, hasn't been an update yet but will post here when there's some news...
Still not sure if I'll be able to make it or not - could someone PM me their number, so if I do come along and am running a bit late, I can find you all....
Just after putting my name down, I've remembered I'm busy on Friday, can't seem to edit the post though. Might be able to make it, but probably a bit after 8.

Good video Mark, looking forward to seeing some more :)
Seems to have turned out better (in being able to see the track clearly) due to the lack of sun....don't feel that way on the day though!
Sure Mark, was going to ask for some tips this time, but you were busy at the time, so took out Steve the Impreza driver - who said I was as quick through the bottom section as him :o
Or steer a bit less, depending on what the tyres are doing ;)
Must say, I generally find oversteer easier to control then understeer (partly because the back doesn't exactly snap out in my fiesta, is quite gentle), lot more fun too
Think solder melts somewhere in the region of 250 degrees c, which is rather hot....straight onto cold glass that'd crack it, but if you could heat the glass up first to try and minimise the temperature difference...not sure how well it'd work though.
Great pics there :)
Was a really good day, had an amazing time....can't wait for the next one ;)
Will be a video of one of my laps online sometime hopefully, done by Sean_J
