I had this on my rear caliper.. in essence it needs a caliper rebuild. The cover is all twisted so won’t seal properly. Best to get a new caliper or rebuild it…
Here’s what mine looked like
What an absolute cluster f….
Definitely be onto beanie sport until they get it fixed. That’s just poor unless there is a genuine reason it’s now drinking more oil which there isn’t….
For info - My 182 before it decided to explode the Conrods at snetterton mid quali never drank that much oil...
We race there in the 750mc and last year in my 182 which is basically a stripped out car with spax dampers (not great), ecu with a basic map on it, standard brakes except carbon Lorraine pads and 888r’s I did a 2:02.8 in Quali.
Definitely more time in it and if we were on stickier tyres a 2:00...
I had a rs192 on my old Clio and it was great. Really nice sound to it and not too loud.
My wife drove it round town for 18months so definitely not too loud..
Doesn’t scorpion make the rs192? So customer service should be decent
Hey all,
The vsg Clio championship starts back next weekend at Croft in North Yorkshire. It used to be called the k-tec championship but vsg are the main sponsors now

Here’s the championship calendar

Thanks mate
I am planning to have my car with candy red wheels and fixings, so will give the end plates a test run with a wrap and see if it looks max power or better
@idub
Sounds good mate
Have you ever seen different coloured blades? As I am thinking that would look decent with different coloured bolts
Any ideas what size the bolts are?
I can take the side blades off mine on Thursday when I am at my lockup and share the pictures..
Not sure it will look good but happy to be a test dummy
Hi all, I am building up a 200 for the ktec championship next year
So keen to put door cards in once I have stripped out all the electric window and regulator gubbins
Has anyone made these yourself? And if so where did you get the plastic sheets from ideally carbon effect?
Just trying to work...

But i have found this company and thinking if i could work out the exact...
Hey Ryan,
I changed the crank sensor on the car last year so it shouldn’t be that.. I do have a spare one in the lockup I can post you if you want to give it a go. It’s pretty easy to change at home.
I would try another battery if you can, just to eliminate that.
Re water normally that’s...
Hey oz, do you want it rebuilt or just a second hand motor?
As there are a few second hand motors for sale on Facebook but getting them shipped might be a challenge.
I do know of a few for sale. I think they would be cool with shipping it but not sure of the cost of a pallet to South Africa...
Hello allzc

Hello all
I have a 182 cup which i use in the ktec Clio championship. My steering rack is on its way out so any places or recommendations to go to get it rebuilt please.

A phase 1 v6 which is a cat d and looks like it’s just been left rather than a barn find going for say £26k!!! It then needs about £10k so £38k for a phase 1 cat d.. market is about £42k and upwards
I don’t get why you would buy this.
Would rather much buy this and actually use it…...
125k isn’t bad on these cars and if you think back it was first on the road in 2003 that’s only 6k a year
I had a Clio 182 trophy that I had up to 160k miles and it never missed a beat
As long as you get the belts / dephaser etc all done it should be fine. You need to factor the £800 into your...
That looks decent in fairness Dave - looks clean from the pictures and even has a spare turini wheel which would suggest it’s been looked after
It’s been off the road for a few years which is worth investigating but other than that it looks good
