The speedo has been playing up for ages so i thought i would have a look at it. A lot of people have been saying that a 2002 FF Clio 172 such as mine has an ABS speedo sensor, even the guy at renault confirmed this. But, if so, why when i disconnect the very suspect and 'speedo looking' sensor...

Just run the diagnostic test for 5mins, and the dials are loving life. Jumping about like man things. Got to be the sensor I guess

If they do run off of the ABS what the was the plug on the back of the engine under the little metal cover? Weird
