Quite a few places in Glasgow are actually doing the back 3 tints for £100, seems a lot cheaper than everywhere else?

I'm looking to get my front discs replaced and currently been quoted £95 for discs and pads fitted but I recently got new pads, do I need to replace the pads or can I still use the ones i have ?

From reading about I'm sure wheel refurbs are about 50-60 a wheel but someone may correct me on that ? Not sure on the price of the wheels but have a search for 182 alloys and you may see how much people have sold them for in the past on the forums

I've just noticed big differences in driving after upgrading to 15" alloys with 195/50/15 tyres...I just never noticed the ride and steerin bein so bumpy before back on the old steelies and was just wondering is this perfectly normal? On occasions it just seems like my steering jumps from side...

That is some really expensive insurance..im 18 coming up for 19 n really don't see gettin a 2.0 engine as a sensible option in terms of insurance :o Would be rather fun to own a 172 tho :)

I got my spigot rings from an alloy wheel specialist, perhaps look up one that is local ? I basically told them the type of alloys i had, model of car i wanted to put them onto and hey presto, they got me the correct ones. £12 for the set of 4 :)

I've noticed this after puttin alloys on my car, only 15"s so didn'y expect much bother...basically when i pick up a bit of speed and hit a bumpy road and I try and brake it feels like my steering is gonna lose control if i don't grip and slow right down..what could this be down to ? My...

Well thing is they were cheap and I had to make a decision whether or not I should get them..I knew they'd fit just didn't know what to get to make them fit. Anyways, got some spigot rings, should probs get some alloy wheel bolts. Thanks for the replies guys :)

Needin some 72 to 60.1mm spacers for some alloys or whatever you call the things..basically goes inside the alloy wheel to make it fit with the centre bore of the clio, went round to my mates house and he has the exact things i was looking for. Its a cyclindrical shaped plastic thing that fits...

Don't have a clue what the offset on standard steelies are lol just know that clio is 35-42 and these alloys are 35 supposedly :o

Will i need spacers? And tyres are pretty good on them, yokohama paradas :) good tread left on them ! Spose i can give it a try later and jack it up :p

Oh and details of the alloys are - Offset 35. beat me to it.. lol thought id add in that info. That's why I bought them coz i knew they were the right offset.

I've just purchased some 2nd hand alloys, a set of TSW Black Ice 15" alloys at a fairly decent price i'd say :) I'm currently on steelies so what do I need to get these on? I hear things about spacers/spigot rings etc but don't have a clue :( I also haven't lowered my car or anything like that...

£100 bit expensive? :s I'm sure it was about £80 for just my brother and he added my mum and dad and myself for about £100 in total. I was with RAC and can't really fault their helpfulness..although they can be a bit slow in Glasgow

Anyone know of any decent guys? And their rough price? My mate went to Mr Tint at Alexandara Parade..can't say he did a great job - there were scratches and bubbles in the tinting so i'm a bit wary of going there. But then again he did only pay £100 lol

Been trying to ask around etc.. renault were charging £170 labour to fit these!! How much should I realistically be looking at to get everything fitted..? I managed to pick up a cheap kit from ebay with the fogs, stalk and the wiring loom( i think it's called that? :p the thing that connects...

From reading around before i'm pretty sure you're okay if you got the tints done before this bill as u say as long as u have receipts to prove when it was done.

Just bringing up this as it was slightly relevant.. managed to get a set of mk2 ph2 fogs + stalk but my friend got an outrageous quote of £170 to get it fitted by Renault ! can anyone else shed some light on the price my mate should expect ? Mk 2 ph2 clio expression btw

In future, probs just easier to go to a local kwik fit or any other garage and ask them to check the charge on the battery :) Did this with mine and then went out to euro car parts and bought a new battery + fitted that myself.
