Couple of photos; todays new addition

Not seen the ktec kit so cant comment, however these use a 295mm disc so can't be used with STD rotor, they also use a disc with a totally different offset so there is no need for a spacer, so you can't machine te bracket down either. If you want more info on the kit pm me. Also I am...

AST topmounts, anyone know what the rough settings are as you turn them?

you can use the top mounts to adjust the camber, however alot of people take advantage of using them to adjust the castor and then use the camber bolts, this gives the best results.

    OMEX 600 ECU connection

if you remove a spark plug, earth it to the head, crank it and see if you get a spark, dont touch it tho, itll give you a shock!

    OMEX 600 ECU connection

the main sensor you will need is the crank sensor, this will give the ecu the info it needs when to "spark" and "inject" if the crank sensor has failed then this is your problem, when you crank it do you get an rpm read out in the omex software? have you checked for a spark?

    OMEX 600 ECU connection

we often see problems like this when a USB -> seriel cable is used, best try it directly to a seriel port if you can find an older laptop.

    LSD which is best???

I sell more quaife than gripper diffs but on track I believe the gripper is better on a road car I would recommend a quaife over the plated gripper. On my iphone at the moment so full replies are tedious! I'll do a proper reply when I get on my pc later

    MORE POWER - Clio 200

as mentioned on the 197 forum, we are running the car with very low boost for now so we can make sure the map is ok with no issues of engine lights or throttle failure etc. once we are happy that the basics are all sorted we will start doing some power runs and giving some power figures out, we...

    MORE POWER - Clio 200

Oh, seem to be pretty accurate with 172's making 165ish bhp, focus rs's doing 295-305bhp, st150's doing 145bhp. and its a Maha Ram12 which actually calculates the transmission loss rather than guess it.

    MORE POWER - Clio 200

    Porting/Matching

Porting a 182 cylinder head properly takes a long time, there is a fair amount of work involved in it, the inlets are much simplier to do.

where to buy rear wheel bearings?

Do you have a local GSF motorfactors, they do the complete lot at a reasonable price, also dont forget to check the little shims behind the discs they are prone to breaking. renault only and they are not a stock item with them, i have a couple of sets on the shelf if you do need them. I can get...
