Im selling my GDI exhaust, sounds awesome with or without the decat.. No other exhaust i found sounded quite like it. Not boomy at all low down, really comes alive when you give it some though...

I was getting 15.3 in a standard 182, I had some appalling starts! I wonder if under 15 is possible with a standard car...?

I've recently fitted a GDI and love it, now de-catted too - the sound is immense at full chat!! yet also quiet on Motorway runs. Its a deep tone, not at all raspy..

I'm also in Portsmouth every day in an Artic 182. The only CS i've seen is a RB 182.

Sorted now ;) Replaced mounts!

It's 3.5".. It's louder than the standard pea-shooters..but not obtrusive. A deeper burble sound, as I wasn't keen on the raspy tin noises from the other well known brands. Has also definitely improved responsiveness, and does pull more in the revs.. I'll get a vid up some time this week.

Gave her a clean earlier. Also fitted a Piper/GDI exhaust a couple of weeks ago. The sound is excellent, very pleased with it and has bedded in nicely! Decat hopefully this week! A couple of pics,

Piper only supply the 2.5 one for the 182, they no longer make the 2.25. The design is the same as Yozza and Supersprint. It weighs significantly less than the standard twin box design. I fitted mine last week. The sound is amazing! I find it a much nicer pitch than the Yozzas and Milltek...

Is one really needed? Can't you just use exhaust paste and old bolts/gaskets?

Good to see! Saw two 182's - one RB and one Black with a Zorst. Also quite a few 172's - A stripped out LHD grey one, a black standard sounding but lowered, and a couple of silvers all PH2. Also a silver mk2 V6, didn't run though.. Was a good day, my best was a 15.3 with the 182..
