Cheers,
Ben.
Cheers for the suggestions, I'm still puzzled.
Typically I drove it to work and back today without even a hint of a misfire? Self fixing French cars again!
No the injectors are all fine, I swapped them around the the misfire stayed on the same 2 cylinders. The fault is that I don't have a spark on 2+3, I just don't know what's causing the lack of spark.
Cheers,
Ben.
Definitely not got a spark on 2+3, I have checked and I only have one live feed to the coil (when cranking) so I guess it could be a break in the loom? The eml is flashing constantly, my eBay special code reader is just giving me p0300 multipul cylinder misfire. Think I'm going to get it to a...
So my 182 has developed a strange, constant misfire. Basically all of a sudden I lost ~%50 of power and it has been running very lumpy. I have taken the injectors out, tested them (all seem fine) and replaced in different cylinders.
I then checked the plugs – 1 and 4 were firing as they should...
I'll be running 30 in the front 28 in the rear. I left them the same as on the road (33/30) last time and they went off pretty quickly, although they are terrible tyres...
We make a lot of tube & pipe at my work so it was a lunchtime job, it's a laser cut blank rolled and seam welded.
I'm not sure on any performance improvements on mine, it "feels" quicker but that probably just the extra noise tbh.
It's SolidWorks.
Cheers,
Ben
Hi Guys,
I started looking for a decat a while ago, mostly as i wanted a little more noise from my 182. I found that most of the decats on the market seem to be a constant diameter with a large step at one end or the other. My reckoning is that this is going to disturb the flow though the...
I had a similar problem a few years ago, turned out to be a cracked inlet manifold. It was right underneath near one of the bolt holes. Hard to spot on a F7 without taking it off.
Ben.
Gordini Blue 182, saw you in the Sainsburys car park in Wantage on Saturday Morning, had a CS sticker in the window.
Parked next to you in my Black 182/ Turinis. Anyone on here?
Ben.
I did pretty much the same set-up back in March - I can confirm it sounds mental

I really like the look of the KTR style induction set-up and all the reviews I have read on here looked pretty good. That being said I thought that I would have a go my self.
I work at a top end exhaust manufacturer so finding tubes/bends really isn't an issue (fairly big advantage here). So...
No fuel smell as yet, seems to run better too?!? Ill have look at lunch and see if I can locate the connection, although I would have thought would idle like a b***h if had had something disconnected?
So I have fitted a new upper inlet on my 182 today and it has no take-off for the carbon canister, I am assuming that it's a 172 manifold because of this.
I have given in a quick drive and all seems fine ( with carbon canister not connected to anything ). Can anyone see I problem of just...
i had one on my 1.2 8v, crazy loud, but good increase in power. it has the 6by3" dtm style tip looks nice, still got it it any body wants it. Only on car for about 6 months so in vgc.
putting in a 1.8 16v insted of a 172 cos i got it for 80 quid with ecu, loom, manifold, ect lol, just have to wait and see, pretty sure the box will fit, maybe the ratios will make it faster off the mark???
I currently have an v-reg 1.2 8v clio, and have decided to change it with a 1.8 16valve engine from a mk1, does anybody no if the 1.2 box will fit on to the 1.8?? if not anybody no what box to get???
