    Belt change in Aberdeen

I had mixed opinions about that Evans Halshaw up by Shell/Altens. Sometimes I felt I was getting good service, other times bad service. Can't shed any light on the belt changes there though buddy. Think they're near Langstracht/Mastrick now too? I enquired about mudflaps from them once and was...

    Gearbox Crunch

I remember once I took my car into a garage (think it was Renault's Evans Halshaw in Aberdeen near Altens) and asked, when they were carrying out other work, if they could check to see what the deal was with my reverse, as I'd mentioned to them I was getting some crunching going into reverse...

    Clio Windscreen Wipers.

It's annoying having the lock on the passenger's door because if there's a problem with your key fob, it's a pain climbing the gearstick - plus you look silly doing this!!! I know this 'cause its happened to me :(

    Clicking noise

I hadn't signed into this website for nearly a year! Whoops! Clicking noise was sorted, I think it was the brakes settling in or something but the noise has long gone. The only noise I hear now is a similar (or the same noise) which suggests the pads are low or the surface of the discs have...

    Clicking noise

I thought about that but I doubt a nail, I've ran my fingers through the widest treads and felt nothing, although I was looking for stones. I just think that it's ironic how I get new pads put on, then a new noise so I would probably be relating the problem to the brakes rather than anything...

    aberdeen clio's

I bide from Dunfermline but at Uni in Aberdeen. I've been down the boulevard to watch the cars at the Beach Ballroom. I've got a factory standard Clio. Seen some nice cars down there (and some REALLY dodgy ones! lol) Richard (scotty-rich)

New car: life after the Clio…

That's an awsome car dude! I've driven a Seat Ibiza Sport 1.4 16V 55 plate (lower spec than yours) and it handles RRREEEAAALLLLLLYYY well, takes corners beautifully. I like the steering wheels on them and how smoothly the gear stick flows into the gears. Richard (scotty-rich)

Help me (silver insert in dash question??)

Hey. Yeah, the silver horizontal strips? They come off easily. Open the glove box, get your fingers at the bottom of the strip and the thumb at the top and it will just pull off (need a LITTLE bit of force). For the strip by the driver's side, by the ignition, place your middle finger left...

    Clicking noise

Hey. I have a similar issue with my 1.2 16v Dynamique. It's 04 and had it's first major service done a couple of months back (only joined this thing a couple of weeks back). Everything was fine although the Renault Dealer (Evans Halshaw, Aberdeen) recommended I get new front brake pads as...

    Pass Plus

Hey. I passed driving test in December 2005, 3 months after my 19th birthday. Got a 1.2 16V Dynamic 04 plate. Done PassPlus about Spring 2006, with the course costing £160. My council paid £120 of it for me. I'm the owner and sole driver of the car and Direct Line full comprehensive was...
