My cambelt has gone and wiped out the whole engine on my 1.4 16v, anybody know where i can get a replacement engine?

£200 for full engine? really? still waiting for the quote from the garage who are diagnosing it.

my cambelt has just gone on my clio about 20 mins ago, i believe this could possibly be an engine replacement? it was on 66k miles due the change at 72k

Just wondering what the mpg for ppl driving a 1.4 16v clio 2000 is because my fuel gauge is so inaccurate and it would seem im doing 25mpg not right obv lol shall i jus not refuel till i get a pesimistic amount of miles out of the fuel, bearing in mind i don't cane it.... much

lol unlucky, got hit by a metro at 20 a few weeks bak, her's was a write off radiator smashed to pieces etc i only had a few scratches on the bumper although with closer inspection the body work had crumpled under the spare tire.

is it even worth me getting a new induction kit?

I have a 1.4 16v clio alize 2000 and cannot seem to find any company who does an induction kit for this model, if anyone knows of any or any advice?

i have a 1.4 16v 2000 elize clio, no negative issues as such apart from the fuel gauge, it is unbelievably inaccurate and will often vary as much as 1/4 of a tank. and it also shows me as having a lot less fuel then i knw i have but it makes me refuel because subconciously i think im gona break...
