Hi had this problem with my 06 model, had to put 2 new door handles in. Checked it on clip and had no signals from handles so got one and put it drivers door which fixed that door but not passenger side. Bought one for passenger side with next paycheck and now everything works perfectly.
Hi, I have changed tweeters on a standard mk 3 a long time ago and they come out ok. You do not need to remove the dashboard, Renault instructions say remove tweeter cover and remove tweeter thats all. I fitted pioneers which were a wee bit tight to go in. Hope this helps a bit
If it's not on the passenger side parcel shelf support it will be part of the boot lock in the tailgate. Take tailgate trim off and see if there is wiring going to it.
It tells you to pull it out at the top two corners first, then put a long 1/4 extension straight up through the hole in the back to undo the clip. It's still pretty awkward.
oh and take the horn fuse out cause it will drive you mad.
Put a 197 steering wheel on my mkIII back in 2007 and it has melted too. Did you get your wheel with the part number on the Renaultsport site? It's half the price £120ish and comes with the silver Renaultsport trim.
The new model clio GT has yellow stitching at the top still prefer the red though.
Hi,if it is a clio III you can take out the glovebox. Pull off the trim at the top and the one at the side then take out the torx screws and pull it towards you. You can get good access to the stereo.
Trouble is i used to work there and left about a year ago.The tech that did it isn't there anymore and i wouldn't let any of the rest of them undo my dust caps nevermind take my gearbox out. What symptoms did the meganes give before you replaced the flywheels?
Had a clutch fitted for bad judder when cold and couldn't get a smooth change any time. Asked dealer to change flywheel as well but they said it was ok. It was ok for a while but now it is as bad as ever and trust me it doesn't get a hard time.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get an aftermarker solid flywheel to replace a dual mass flywheel? It's for a clioIII 1.5 dci 106 bhp. Have tried the usual sites, valeo, luk, etc. Any help would be great.
Not sure if your car will come with an alarm. These are fitted at cat uk as are the locking wheel nuts. The immobilizer is part of the car coming from the factory so that will be ok.
Hi. I have a clioIII with an update list stereo, several months ago i fitted a 2006 alpine head unit and an incartec adapter. After only one day the incartec adaper went up in smoke, i was supplied with another one which only lasted 2 minutes before doing the same. Ended up getting my money...
