I have rung them again, they reckon its fine and i am just panicing, so sometime this week i am going to take it somewhere else, where i have to pay to get it sorted how s**t is that....
Right well just got it back, the car has been with them for about 4 hours now, and well absolutly no difference, the speaker is working but now sounds like tweeters aren't going, really really annoyed as i pretty much bet they know whats wrong but won't do nothing unless i was to pay them...
Cheers, i'm taking it in today to get it fixed free of charge by the place who put them in, so if they can sort it out for free and i don't have to buy new speakers all the better....!
Yeah, they are covered by the place i brought them so i could send them back no trouble at all,
Would rather it just be a loose connection or something rather than wait for new ones...
Hi guys,
my problem is....
had my new component speakers in about 2 weeks now, and this morning was listening at a moderate level and the right side just cut out?
I'm not overpowering them, and it wasn't up loud enough to blow them so no idea, i tried it again a few mins ago and there is...
Cheap as hell, they had it on fifth gear before i believe it was....
in the top three most expensive cars to modify in britain, over 100 grand spent on it..... MENTAL
Depends i think, is it in your view, i have like three rather large cracks in windscreen and it still passed the MOT from local renault garage fine.... they just said it would have failed had the cracks been directly in my view....
Cheers, i think it might have been you who mentioned not to touch it before, i guess its cheap but you get what you pay for...
Will just get monoblocks then i reckon...
Just looking around at other amps and i know the loudest.com gear is highly rated on the site, but would this do....

Just so in conclusion, correct me if i have read all this wrong,
For the best i could make it, i want a 2ohm amp with the 4 ohm sub???
Seroiusly all this "ohm" getting me confused...
Good for security hiding it there if you can, i always wonder though for people who have screens in their cars etc, how often do you realistically get to watch it.
Just in like traffic jams etc?.....what the law on it etc, just say you did have it on your dash there and was watching it whilst...
Way to do it, try all sorts...at the minute what i have is ok, just desparately need to change the subs,
I have alpine type r components up the front powered by 1500watt loudest.com amp
I have 2x of the latest black sony subs 12" powered by one of the JBL GTO series.

i was just looking at those, i mean perhaps wouldnt be able to get them in one go, but thats definatly a pretty reasonable price.

Confusing abit isn't it, what make of amp should i be looking for, i know the alpine type r's are under rated so i can defintly push them hard, just need perfect amp...
Do i go for a powerful 2 channel or 2 class d monoblocks?
Well what i was going to do to buy was 2x alpine type r subwoofers, to be honest haven't really looked at amps yet, but now i know what to look for....
So...if i had to choose the 2ohm or the 4 ohm to buy an amp for...what would you choose personally, or doesn't it really matter?
