From this picture it does look perfectly possible. Especially with a knackered engine mount. I wasn't sure how the exhaust was routed.

I'm looking at buying a 197 - it's making a strange noise pulling away - a rumbling sound from down under the footwell area.
The company I'm buying the car from say they have now fixed it. The exhaust manifold where it has 2 pipes had sagged and was rubbing against the anti roll bar. They...
I'd really love a Storm Grey 200. That would be the perfect car but they seem to be about 11k. Thats really my budget so it doesn't leave money to buy any parts for it.
If it happened to have a Megane 225 engine in it too that really would be perfect.
Hi All,
I was wondering if I can get advice on buying a 197 / 200 car for track days only.
The car will be totally stripped inside and suspension changed for coilovers.
Therefore what is best out of 197/200? 197 cars seem to be a lot cheaper and if I'm ripping the car to bits would this be...
You can just change the rear discs to standard ones instead of the 2 piece if they need replaced. Does need a little spacer though which is a standard part. Did this on mine. God only knows if you can/where you can get the 2 piece ones.
Its actually the diff that makes the biggest difference with the clio cup cars.
I had mine dyno'd at 198 with a airfilter, decat and exhaust so not sure why its a myth?
Sure that was from Opie Oils Fred. No offence but since when does anyone use genuine oil filters - no one I know does. Also don't forget this isn't a road car with a filter stuck on for however many thousand miles - it's a race car and the filter was changed regularly. It's a standard engine...
Ive never really took videos whilst on track before but I decided to take a couple yesterday with my iphone.
Was a good day, very cold but dry - the track was damp to start with but dryed out eventually.

Not sure if a 172 clio cup racer subframe would work? The engine mount connects to the power steering holes. Then 2 mounts attach to the gearbox.
Gearbox mounts might be different I suppose.
I thought about getting a playbook, had one on trail for a couple of weeks.
Really want an ipad but the price of the playbook was attractive.
Then I remembered the screen is quite small and thinking about it - its half way to the ipad. I thought why not just save up the other half and buy an...
I'll change it and put some more info on - I think when I put the advert up I wasn't too fussed about selling it but I think im coming round more to the idea of selling it and trying something else.
Price Tony - there is a standard one on for 10.5 so I think its ok but still a lot of money but...
Been trying to sell my clio for months now and not really had any interest.

Do you think there is any hope of selling this the way things are just now or am I best breaking the car and selling as parts?
Ive been thinking about doing a spreadsheet...
You get splitters too but Ive only seen a 2 way not a 3 way which you would need for oil feed plus temp plus pressure.
How about the oil level hole? You would lose your oil level on the dash but do you need it? Im using that for oil pressure.
Dont do anything using the sump plug, as...
