I have a williams f7r fitted to my mark 2 phase 2. Was running it with a blocked fuel return due to being lazy and not running a return line and using a 172 pump ( which i know have) however i have thought could i used the carbon cannister line as a fuel return as it goes back to the tank? If...

Thanks pink, ye ive being doing without it for ages. But would be nice to use it got a while miss it sometimes. For hard driving i can unplug it. Wonder why mine isent working then, so were does it get the speed signal from?

Does anyone know if this system has its own ECU or requires the Engine ECU to run. As i have fitted a 2.0 williams engine and it does not currently run ( i have deleted the old engine ECU) would i need to put the old engine ECU in to get it to work, or issit a case of giving it VSS sensor...

Ok Fred thats great help thankyou very much. So 95Nm defantly wont crack the block or anything. Not the end of the world if i snap a bolt just dont want to crack the block

ye but there strechted bolts so im worried if i un-do them and then do them up again if there going to clamp down correctly?

In the process of doing my hg right now and torque them all to 30nm then was going to do 165 degress as i saw in another post. However the angle guage messed up. So in the correct order i then torqued to 1 to 10 to 50NM. I then in the correct order torque them to 80NM. Does anyone know what NM...

My 1.8 mk1 in my mark 2 is running no fuel return. Soon i will be putting my 2.0 williams in and want to run a fuel return. It used to be a mark 2 1.2 16V engine if that helps. In the drivers side there is a charcoal filter or some sort of breather for the fuel ? I dont use it anymore...

Ok Car currently has a Mark 1 F7p in. Conversion was a ballache as i didnt plan it out properly and car was off the road for a good few months. Now ive been buying bits slowly and have bought a F7R. Which will be going in once i have collected all the bits. So i can take it out on the monday...

oh ok mate thanks for the reply. But if i fit a rack thats designed to be manual. Surely the steering will be eaiser to turn then with my current rack? As i cannot wire in the electric rack on a f7r ecu

Do you get a knocking from the suspension? Issit the same on the other side? If not maybe someone has taken the suspension apart and forgot to put the rubber mount on the underside back on. Ive done this before. Just a though Olly

Does anyone know if i can replace my electric steering rack in my mark 2 clio with a f7r engine. To a RENAULT CLIO MK1 1998 (R'REG) 1.2L manual rack. Are the mounts the same? as i dont want to run pas so there is no need for the heavier electric rack. Thanks olly

jonnip dont no who you are because it was me in the black clio aveit. Its a mark to 54 plate with a mark 1 1.8 16v engine conversion done by me and the mate in the back or passesnger seat cnt memba were he was. was a laugh wud of carried on but car was running off of ur fumes lol.
