hi,got a clio 1.8 16v with piper cams and adjustable pulleys,so its currently running rich,if i put i power boost valve on aswell would this make any difference? would it need tunning? thankyou
at rondom times when im driving my fuel pump will stop working causing the engine to stall while in transit, when i pull over to start back up,the electrical warning light DOES'NT light up and the fuel pump DOES'NT make that humming noise and the car wont start,if i leave it for a couple of mins...
oh right, well this stops illuminating after my car cuts out and the fuel pump stops working, aftrer about 3 mins the light comes back on and the fuel pump starts working again, any ideas
what does this light mean? its on the right hand side of my instrument panel, its a square with like an electric current running through it,comes on when i switch my ignition on? thanx
i dont really know i bought it about a month ago and the dude i bought it of didnt even know it had piper cams,i would of thought it'd be quiet quick with cams on but its not really, how will i know if its been re-mapped?
hi,ive got a 1.8 16v clio 95m,its got a decat followed by a stainless, green air filter, piper cams with adjustable pulleys, and i want more speed what other ways are there to get some more horses??? thankyou
well ive got de-cat,followed by stainless steel exhaust, green induction kit, piper cams with light weight adjustable vernier pulleys, will this make a difference in power gain from a remap?
an engine flush is something you buy from halfords etc,you pour it in your engine (not petrol tank) via the oil filler cap and run your engine for 15 mins or so and it removes all the crap from your internal engine parts
probably, depending on how long youve been driving it knowing the head gaskets on its way out the heat causes the the head to distort which means that when the new gasket is fitted the face on the head will be slightly un-flush causing it to leak again alot sooner than if you got the head...
