Im almost 100% sure that the noise will be the exhaust downpipe from the manifold is touching the subframe under acceleration, as the maifold is at the rear of the engine and the engine moves backward under acceleration this was the problem on my 172.

thank you i can also have them powder coated but you dont get the shinny finish, £60 all 4 shot blasted and powder coated

hi can anybody help me? i have a clio sport 182 2004, the car will only select 5th gear and will go back into nutral, it won't go into any other gear at all, it also will drive in 5th, any idias?:S cheers
