182 gearbox problem

can anybody help me?

i have a clio sport 182 2004, the car will only select 5th gear and will go back into nutral, it won't go into any other gear at all,

it also will drive in 5th,

any idias?:S

Yep, they don't like abuse and won't last long if they are abused. You could strip the box and repair it probably but the cost of a new box will be cheaper i'd imagine unless its something very trivial and you can do it yourself.

sorted, didnt need a new gearbox, got it sorted from www.auto-serve.co.uk selecter needed re-locating
