Hi all l have a clio 172 ph1 has had a water pump, dephaser pulley, timing belt kit and aux belt kit all genuine items trouble is the temperature gauge on the dash is sitting at a quarter instead of half way could it be because I have fitted a non genuine thermostat and coolant temperature...
hey all my girlfriends 1.4 dynamique clio the blowers work on speeds 1,2,3 and then on 4 stop working am i right in saying this would be the heater resistor? also could someone tell me where its located?

if the car is accelerating it makes this noise looks asif the cat is banging off the subframe l cant fit my finger in between the gap of the pipe and the subframe it has a polybushed dogbone mount and the rest of the mounts are standard what are peoples views on this? get a fabricator to make me...
l have a ph1 172 the n/s/f spring has broken would it be ok 2 put a cup spring on it or would that be a total no no until l get a full cup springs all round?
also could anyone tell me if the 172 cup shock absorbers are different to my own ones?

hey all picked this up a few weeks ago down in warwickshire thought it was time for a change. The very first of the renaultsport clios so a bit more rare to see out on the roads.

l have a phase 1 172 throttle cable type throttle body trouble is when driving the car the revs fluctuate between 1.2k and 2k when l release the throttle and roll out of gear or brake with my foot on the clutch! l have took the trottle body off cleaned with brake cleaner greased all the spring...
