That would explain the raspy niceness. Lovely car mate.
Will have to have a mini meet if there is a few of us up here, or at least I will once I have got a new car.
Is your reg PX54 something mate? It sounded Yozza'd, lovely rasp as you went down the hill, I used to have a Yozza on my Cup and I loved that noise.
Nice car by the way!
Saw an absolutely gorgeous looking and sounding RB 182 going down the hill into Sleights, maybe Thursday last week?
White 2118's on it, looked lowered and lovely sounding exhaust too.
Very nice car, anyone on here?
Generally I go with my feelings when buying a car.
If you have a hunch that a car is a nail, (which you clearly do) just leave it well alone. Basics when buying a car, LOOK at it first, in person and not online, and at least HPI it.
Good luck though, I hope it is as honest as you hope and its...
I had a yozza on my old Cup and it was f**king awesome, the rasp at the high end of the revs is something to behold. It nearly made me weep when the new owner drove away in it.
Fitment and build quality are brilliant. I will have another one when I get another Cup, no doubt at all. :D
Yeah, I thought so too mate. Looking at them pics really makes me miss it.
Daniel - you're right, you would think he would wipe it down at least if he wanted good money for it.
My old Cup on ebay, although now minus the standard Turini's and with a new interior!
It says in the advert "at some point it's had a new interior" however when I sold it to him, it was a totally standard and very very clean looking Cup. Also had a Yozza exhaust on it when I sold it, which seems...
Fuckin hell, that's a bit harsh!
As for that website! Rammed full of do-gooder busybody fuckwits.
However, I wouldn't imagine stretching tyres can be that healthy for the rubber like. I quite like the look on some cars though.
Where I used to live all the kids in the cul-de-sac, came to play at the end of my drive.
They were basically using the Clio as goal posts (hit the car and you score!) and so I told them politely to go up their "end" of the street. However, one little scrote took it upon himself to key my car...
Sold mine a month ago for 3700.
52 plate with 45k, all the belts done, partial service history and a Cat D. If its Cat D stick it up for about 3900 and see how you go.
Just having a break from fitting my new Yozza exhaust (which is mint by the way), and just noticed that on the cat, the join has like a protruding lip, where as on the new centre section there is no recess for the lip to sit in? Anyone had experience with this as it doesn't look like it will sit...
Clear stickers advertising exhausts? Like race decals? I would remove them before you drive the car away mate to be honest, just to make sure they are not hiding anything, scratches, chips e.t.c. :)
Hello mate, you have bought a full system from the cat back and the price sounds right to me inc fitting. What your mate is describing, is a full system including de-cat pipe.
I don't know personally about removing the cat, i know it will help your car breathe a lot easier and will be a lot...
Saw a very clean silver 172 about 1330 today, just leaving MacD's in grantham, little Cliosport sticker in the back window. Someone on here then?
Thats brilliant, cheers fellas. Hopefully they will have some exhaust silent in there yeah, may be worth getting new rubbers too, 350 for an exhaust, got to be worth shelling out for new rubbers too! lol! Thanks very much,
Chris :D
Evening all,
Have a Yozza road (loud) system on its way to me, just wondering what I will need to fit it, rubbers, hangers, bolts wise. Have access to a ramp and a fully tooled up workshop so thats no probs.
Would rather do it myself than take it some puke at ATS or National exhaust thats...
