There is a real clunk and the stick moves when for example when accelerating in 2nd and letting off almost like the gearbox is loose and is moving. iv just had a new diff put in as the circlip popped. Any ideas, could it be something loose or has something gone wrong?

Is there any ways to tell that a second hand gearbox is going to be worth buying?

Does anyone know of a Mechanic in the Bedfordshire area that can change a gearbox for me? i have a replacement just need the labour.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone could help me diagnose a problem.. last week I had a new clutch fitted, they told me it would take 4-5 hours. After waiting 2 days they finally told me they couldn't take the gearbox out due to "seized" bolts. Then after 4 days they say they need a new nose...

Could anyone tell me if and where there is a place in the Bedfordshire area to get my gearbox reconditioned and a rough price of how much it is to be done? Thanks.

I have a ktech stealth exhaust fitted at the moment but would like to have a nice looking pipe showing now, what options do I have? Can I just change the back box or do I need to change the whole exhaust system?

The speakers I have at the moment have a real bad sound and I want some new ones but don't have a clue about stuff like that. I've got a Sony aftermarket head unit, anyone got any advice on a quick swap of speakers and what brand/type are good so I can carry on enjoying belting out some Sinatra!

i want to get some clio sport wheels on my white clio 1.2 and was wondering how they would look in black on my car. so if anyone could photo shop the wheels black then photo shop them onto my car it would really help!! wheels: car:
