    FAO: Flocked Dash Peeps

If you are going to keep the airbag then you must not flock over the break through area or the arbag cover. We seeked legal advice regarding this and in a nutshell insurance is void as the safety device has been tampered with beyong manufactures specification. To flock over the airbag it must be...

few problems just had my car itb'd

Russ - LOL its been a long day pal, that pretty good power for the spec I think, isnt a 172 about 145ft lb standard though? Andy - I think the V4 ecu is more than up to the job as it is a very high spec ecu with some excellent features Probably overkill for a N/A engine though which is good

    Finchspeed 172 PH2 trackday car

Mike no probs pal, I think a custom gauge pod to replace the centre part where the clock/trip comp sit would be a good option. Ive had a good look at it and the plastic welds are simple to drill and remove so this is defo on the cards. Will give you a ring tomorrow to give you a full update...

    who wants flocking?

There is so much being over looked here, thinking thats its just the purchase of the machine will enable a good finished product is just not realistic. The actual nature of flocking means that it MUST be condicted in a contaminant free booth or enclosure so anyone who is using a multi purpose...

    Dash felt

hello, flocking isnt a material, its nylon micro fibres, they are attached to a substrate/dash by applying adhesive then spraying the flock onto it. The best way is to use electrostatic equipement (which is what we use) which gives the best finish making the fibres sit at 90 deg. angles. This...
