Tbh you wont get much gain from the 1.2 lump. My advice is you save for a clio sport as im sure you will get told alot here, but failing that go down the route of induction it, cat back exhaust etc etc but i think you are pretty much limited to that! maybe ecu remap aswell.

to be honest i never bother looking at the mpg or worrying about cost of fuel with this car if i did then id be driving a diesel or a toyota privia

hmmm the 205 weighs about as much as a bag of salted peanuts, dont wana start a dissagreement but a 205 mi16 is a QUICK car and it would see off a standard cup no problem

starting to think the whole problem of this loud vibration when im booting it is being caused by the uprated dog bone mount!! its hard to describe but it sounds like the exhaust is touching the firewall and its growling/resonating like fuk!! from around 4k-7k revs the bushes are purple are they...

its all in the preperation, and the primer used will have to be diffrent from the kind of primer used to spray the metal body panels as normal primer will not stick and after time it will flake off so make sure the use plastic primer and you cant go far wrong

get the best you can afford mate like others have said if you get a cheap example no doubt it will need money spending on it unless you are lucky and get a cheap minter

the most annoying thing on my car is when im accelerating hard it sounds like the exhaust is touching the underside of the car and its defningly loud! could this be engine mounts?? id does not do it under normal driving :(

i have the 182 manifold on my 172 cup and also have the uprated dog bone mount + bushes but i get terrible exhaust vibration at around 4k revs sounds like the exhaust is rubing against the car floorpan and also get the banging in 1st and 2nd:S do you think it could be the other mounts??
