great choice.mines a cup .test drove a 197 before i got mines and wasnt allowed to go above 50 on the test drive.i changed from an impreza sti import and the cup defo handles better in my opinion.done 7000 miles now and still get the buzz when b-road blasting.

just before christmas around forty cars got keyed all over dundee in the space of a week,i wasnt one which was lucky but a mates got proper keyed and paint strippered too.gutted for you mate.

the cup is still as stuttery as hell after the full ecu re-write 2 days ago.cant be arsed with the car now.ive been told theres nown they can do.i say yes as ive garaged the heap and use my rattly,leaky doored transit class

my car is an 08 ,its been in renault in dundee.they have re-written the ecu but its no different really,ive always used v-power fuel too.so its not fuel like they keep telling me.poop.im thinking of taking car back and buying a 172 cup they got as a trade in.197 is very dissapointing so far.gutted

ive taken my 197 cut to my local renault dealer and they have no info on any cold start faults,therefore they refuse to fix problem.if anyone has info or a contact number for a main dealer which has the software it would make my day as i can get clio fixed. thanks ged b

ive had the same problems .ive had it to arnold shark and they tried to fob me off saying its a high performance engine.when they said that i nearly pished myself.told me theyd never heard of that problem(funny that)before.total a-holes.

Re: Problems with your 197???? got the squeaky brakes and the cold-judder but ok when warmed up problems.dealer has no answers for these problems.ive told them i didnt pay out over15 grand for a car to stutter and have squeaky brakes.my car currently sits garaged and im lookin at a 172.arnold...
