I found no problem with it!!! it's great on B roads If your driving on the motorway you won't even get to see what it's like and it needs to be driven how an M should be to appreciate how it works

I don't know how you can say the gearbox is dreadful !!! I find it easy to use and gear changes are very quick !!!

The SMG is awesome bit of kit !!! With the misses and kids in the car I set it so the gear changes are nice and smooth but when I'm alone it becomes a violent beast lol So glad I went for SMG love how it revs matches on down shifts !!! The blips are awesome :)

Little update.... Tonight I went about fitting my exhaust I picked up from russ and the t2 down pipe I got from mikey ( members of firstaturbo.com) to make it fit!!! Had to weld the bracket on the down pipe as it was cracked but sorted that in no time !!! While I was there I wanted to replace...

Yep the last lot where all on a Early k reg as they where registered late in 1992 when the emission laws changed which killed off the production of the frst!! Hence why they replace it with the Rs1800 which complied with the law which started on a k reg

Yep they only came in red,white, grey and black then the last run of them was done in moondust silver which were on a K reg !!!

Why don't you phone them up and say you lost the main key and now using the spare!!! They might have a contractor that will come out and cut/code a new key at your home..... simples !!

I see something like this a few weeks back...someone on the a3 into London lost it some how and binned it into woods on it side !!! It was left like this until it could be removed !!!

Get a muilt meter out and check the charge rate with the engine running to see if the alternator is charging the battery!! Then check the battery if it is dropping voltage!!! With engine off These two quick tests will rule out the battery and charge system !!
