Fingers crossed its something simple! It is french after all!
To be fair, i was quite impressed the electrics still worked after so long unused! Clutch was far down the list of expected issues.
Hi All,
My 172 has been "resting" for a number of years whilst my 2 kids took over my life. Over the past few weeks i have been purchasing items to get it back how it should be and on those open roads.
The usual servicable items are all ready to be cracked on with, however i noticed last...
he has had the 34 for a few years yeah, but hes very anal about the car....... Bare metal respray consists of new doors bootlid etc... literally rebuildign the car minus the engine
Lovely motor.... friend of mine has these two in his collection.
His 34 is off having a bare metal respray at the moment!
Both churning our about 600 horse.
to be honest the DAB adapter is a good shout, as my radio signal sucks, could do with takign it out and checkign arial but again i dont dare haha
How much are you looking at for those adapters?
ive had it in and out so many times now i have a strategy with long screwdrivers, swearing and electrical tape...
I dont dare buy any of the extras for it cos it will mean removing it again
ive not seen this yet..... We need to think of a good location for this shoot.... my idea was Pleasure sandcastle as we can get the illuminations and the big one etc in the background..... jsust awaiting back on a friend who has loadsa equipment
who you insured with? If liability is admitted straight away your excess should be waived
Shame about the car but only a piece of metal.. onwards and upwards

What supplier was it? Thrifty Avis or europcar?
glad too hear you are back on the road
Ahh nice choice in bike!! I'm leaning towards one of these for my next bike after the 400!
A friend of mine has a 675r, beautiful machine and sounds awesome with the arrow can on!
