I thought it was really easy on the 172 Cup as there are no tensioners as such (think the alternator is the tensioner?) and no aircon to get in the way?

Yea, that's what I mean. If the one fitted came with a spring then it can't be the right one then? Unless they just remove the spring in the factory?

The whole valve on mine has been replaced, presumably with the spring included as you can't only get the spring from Renault you have to buy the whole valve. As I understand from the VOSA pdf the pressure regulator within the valve is preset at the factory for the 172 Cup. Does that mean that...

I'd be interested to know too in case they've made it active when it shouldn't be.

I think one pack is the spoiler pack, the other the suspension pack. Might be wrong though!
