Just sold my 200. Had a Trophy for nearly 5 years previous to that.
I literally laughed everyday in the trophy. In a year with the 200 I managed a couple of smiles.
This happened to my 182. Dead alternator.
To confirm, check the drain on the battery, disconnect the alternator and te-rest battery. Should be very different readings.
Bumper off job iirc.
Ford have good deals on? Combined with canny MPG = sales.
Reminds me of when the Saxos vtr/s came out with free insurance. They were all over, then all sold on/crashed after 2 years.
Sorry if old hat.
Anyone done this, 'proper 200' to new ST? Sideways step? Worth it?
IMO the Clio looks much better but I'm attracted to the 'fun' part of the ST. The 200 is quite serious after coming from a Trophy.
The cup chassis is very skittish. Great on a smooth road but we know they are few and far between.
Saying that I'm sure I'd miss the turn-in if I didn't have it.
Agreed. Gutted that the fiesta is top dog. Would like to see a comparison with a 200.
I think the real issue is/was the credit crunch. People can't afford to run these types of cars like they used to.
