Finaly it was a timing problem.. Engine runs now without making noises when rev up... Now it´s time to fit the other parts and map the ecu.. Thanks all for your help... cheers...

what shouldi do now? let the VVT solenoid unplgged? or is it a timing problem?

the garage changed the springs as shown in the link..with air-pressure.. ordered a new dephaser pulley during the week, today the garage changed it. the noise is still there when we rev the engine up.. but when i unplug the vvt solenoid, start the engine and rev it up, there is no noise...

i´m no mechanic but i know they removed the rocker cover because i´ve taken it to a friend of mine who powdercoated the cover. how they changed the springs i don´t know.. i also know that they used a tool to lock the cams, looks like a bridge and was pluged into both cams. don´t know how they...

you don´t think its the pulley?? i know they jused a tool to lock the cams after changing them but no renault tool, additional i must say the cams are no OEM parts, performance cams from engine dynamics..

no, but they did the first cambelt change 5 years ago on my car and all was fine. they´ve repaired enough engines over the years, so i thought they could also replace the springs and cams.

i don´t hope..

i didn´t change them by my self, car was at the workshop. don´t know how they change the springs without taken the head off, but they say they did.

no only the cam-cover was taken off

a few of the old lifters were damaged. so in the course of changing the cams we also changed the lifters and valve springs.

another one of those dephaser pully threads Hi, my engine had a cam & aux. belt change last week, new hydro lifters and cams were also fitted. Now the engine makes scarry noises when i rev it up... made a video of the sound, think its the dephaser pully but it doesn´t sound like in the other...

A few CF-parts from my clio172 apart from the front splitter All parts are made by K&G Design, Germany... You send them the original parts and 2-3 weeks later you´ll get the part covered with CF back.

sice a week now the car´s at the workshop... changing cam belt and aux. belt, waterpump and cams. Bought a pair of Engine-Dynamics Cams in December, now it was time to fit cams. Some parts of the engine were powder coated.. Here the results Also recived a package from JMS-Tuning it...

Next Steps: new front brakes fitted: Cambelt,Auxbet etc. arrived last week Upper and lower inlet fully mached and enlarged before: after: to be continued...

got some parts back from K&G Design :approve: Amps and Doorpanel inlays covered with carbon fiber.

these are all original parts. They were covered with carbonfiber (hand-laminated). All parts made by K&G Design in Germany. it was mutch work. The fenders had to be pulled out for 4cm per side.

actually nothing. But it was a special offer to me from KW-automotive (LSD-doors) to convert the doors, so they could use the car to develop a new opening system. :approve:found some new pics i´ve taken last week from the rear panel inlets and a part i don´t know the word in english, sorry
