Getting constantly around 24-27mpg. What would cause this as driving relatively normal i.e. 2400rpm gear changes and using appropriate gears. I thought lamba sensor but wouldnt I have a alarm on the dash for that?

Have components front and back with a sub in boot. Whats the general rule of thumb for setting frequencys on components for say mid range and high range. Have my sub set up nicely, but not sure on what hz I'm looking at for components as general practice.

When pressing the accelerator or taking foot off, the gear stick seems to move quite a bit back and forth, read round about could be the engine mounts, however checked the top ones and seemed to be quite tight. Something I'm missing? 1.2 Clio
