I seem to remember The 306 GTI-6 had a similarly pessimistic 0-60 time.

Hi guys Just thought I'd check. A friend of mine has an old 1.8 16v (1992) and it keeps overheating. She say the garage have drained all the fluid and it was ok for a little while but its doing it again. Does anyone have any ideas as she's quite cute and I want to impress her. Ta.

Had those on my 172. Careful you don't go too low though ;-) The centre section of my exhaust lost a few battles with speed bumps before I wound them back up a bit. Enjoy totally flat cornering :cool:

A mate has just sacked off BT vision because it wasn't very stable or particularly good content wise. He swapped to sky HD, I know that doesn't help you, but I haven't heard too many good things about BT vision. Why not get freeview HD and then supplement it with apple TV or a similar...

I had a cat 1 alarm fitted to mine when I bought it, in addition to the factory Renault one. It used to immobilise itself after about 10 seconds of unlocking if you didn't put the key in. It was occasionally annoying but I never worried about it getting stolen.

I always Used premium unleaded in mine (Shell V-power only). I'd suggest you do, but others have run theirs on normal pump fuel. As you've got the pinnacle of 1*2's in the limited trophy I'd Suggest one of the many trophy owners who'll see this will be able to advise you on the sachs dampers...

Induction kit + Ktec stealth(with a bit of a hole somewhere in the middle) = p***ed off girlfriend on a drive to Devon. My old car has given 3 people migraines sat in the back complaining of the drone. I loved it :) My new derv is quiet, solid and boring. No sense of occasion or urgency.

Just sold my 2002 clio 172 on 59000 for £2600, and i know mine will go on for years and years. Makes sense a slightly older one owuld be available for 2k, just make sure it's been looked after or it will cost loads in the long run.
