I know the general point on how they work but, the size of my strut bolt is M10 does this mean I need to get a bolt with the CAM on the bolt measuring 10mm?

I'm in the middle of fitting front camber bolts to my clio and have the top bolt out at the bottom of the strut, where it meets the hub. The new bolt is now too big to go in the hole. Does anyone know if these always need to be bored out or have I got the wrong bolt.

I was taking the wheels off there and came to the locking bolt and it started loosing then wouldnt loosen any more or tighten. I thinking the bolt is just spinning in the hub. Any ideas?
