no hids in the side lights , there not needed and will not fit, just LED's from ultraleds.com http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/501194t10-ultra-tower-leds-xenon-white-p-2026.html these are quite good as they dont show a spot of light but reflect around like a normal bulb but with bright white cool...

just low beam.... hids really dont react fast enough if you need to flash. I have cheap ebay ones on my clio MK3 but same setup £40 all in and I'm very impressed with them, 4K3 so white as opposed to blueish tint, also have white 5K led's for the side lights. for the record I have HID4U...

really like that, are the LED's smt's or screw in type.... how easy is it to do, I'm a dab hand with a soldering iron and a set of screw drivers. any how to's?? bullit

if that's the only problem Y dont you fix it....are you missing a fixing plate? I've ha HIDs in various vehicles that have gone through the MOT, and all the MOT tester said was,(when he saw the start flash) was prepare to be blinded. so he knew what they were but made no other comment on them...

All renaults have the same problem. I have 13cm JBL's that were originally in my scenic and like the scenic the backs on the clio needed cutting out on the door pods, it can be done without removing the door cards the plactic is really soft, I cut mine with a hack saw blade(just held the blade)...

dont pull, it's push (towards the front) and then either up or down(depending on which side) each prong is seperate( there is two per holder) but will go the same way, it'll then hinge out and the bulb will drop back and out. bullit
