Me and the wife recently visited the The Lakes, we stayed at http://www.sandhillsfarm.co.uk , did 2 1600ft climbs and an 8 mile walk.
Next trip is going to be a driving trip in my F4R'd R5 GTT and that pass will definitely get some rubber laid down on it :D

Yes it is true.
The owner is Chris Backshell aka Scoff. He has built a high spec turbo'd F4R capable of producing low 10sec sqms at traps of between 144-145mph.
His car is built to drag race in the Euro Sports Compact series @ Santa pod (ESC) - a championship open to european brand fast road...
I've done this conversion with Adey, we built the car in a weekend.
He managed to get it to pull high 12s at Shakespeare Raceway from memory, if done correctly...you will have a very quick and reliable car :D
No good if the floor of the car isn't smooth and redirecting the air with the aid of a diffuser type arrangement...Do you want me to get my CFD hat on ;)

A mate of mine has swapped the engines over, 182 engine into a Ph2 172 car.
Everything is complete apart from the inlet manifold...

Well my wife uses the car more than me and yesterday she was waffling on about how much the car was cutting out and idling all over the place!

If the dampers haven't been removed before its a good idea to WD40/Plusgas all the necessary bolts before you try and remove them.
They will definitely need to be 'cracked off' i.e breaker bar, extension with a socket just to break the seal thats occurred from the build up of s**t on the...
Invest in an impact gun, makes life so much easier...I've got 3 of the below and they are easily one of my most used tools...
