your explanation of symptoms sounds like a worn clutch...what mileage is on your car..? as for the brakes ,must be sticky sliders or piston..sliders can be fixed no prob , pistons cany always be free,d off and may need a replacement caliper.

A reconditioned shaft will be fine and cost roughly £100 with 1 year warranty. ask your local motorfactors. i.e. unipart

may aswell pull the shaft off...easier to fit the abs ring. change gearbox oil at same time.

had same prob with my old dynamique...a blast of wd40 around the seals and hinges ...problem solved, 30 sec job.

costs about £15-£25...easy to replace. probably need a balljoint splitter for the job. i would replace both sides then get the wheel alignment checked.

got myself a set of bendix discs with abs rings fitted off ebay. bendix are every bit as good as oe discs... renault will supply quality discs but you will pay over the odds, so id advise you to shop around for quality at a reasonable price. try your local motor factors first.

buy your pads from renault if you want ripped off. buy from your local motor factors if you dont want ripped off. got myself mintex pads at cost price £8 expect to pay £20...roughly

check the abs rings are ok and check the sensors havent moved and are clean.

normally the squeeky brakes sound goes away after the pads n discs have bedded in...2500 miles seems a bit much though.
