Hi, got my renewal quote today from Privilege for my 54- plate 182, £385 (i am 45 years old), last year it was £295! No change in details or claims since last year, anybody else seen a big rise this year? 90 quid is about 30 odd %!

My 182 used to give mid 30's mpg on long motorway trips but now my daily trip to work is only 7 miles one way so i only get about 27 mpg with an average speed of 17 mph between fillups.

Sounds like the fan resistor pack located in the drivers side scuttle area, its easy to get to, take the connector off, turn on the ignition, fan should be off, link out the two end contacts with a piece of wire and the fan should cone on full blast! I just changed mine last week, £103 from...

I bought an OBD2 code reader from K-Tec back in May for £35, you can read fault codes and reset the 'service' light with it if you need to! I plugged it in to make sure it works but still waiting for a fault to appear.

Done a search on here for splitters, lots of pics and opinions but i think the 307 looks best as an alternative to the original cup splitter, but everyone has their own opinion! About £30 cant be wrong either! compared to Renault prices! Thanks, Fletcher.
