just to follow up on this problem. I Have a JMS induction setup. I removed it and gave the plastic elbow and throttle body a good clean, and it seems to have done the trick. Hasn't shut off since...touch wood. cheers

maybe on/off isn't explaining the feeling correctly. The feeling is like the disc is somwhat warped. Its like how a train brakes (in increments) Its hard to explain.
