Ignoring the stickers and some easily rectifiable cosmetic stuff what are people's thoughts please?
After a 197 for occasional and light track use and some weekend fun. Looks in good condition...
I got rid of my 275 6 months back for an E92 M3, let me persuade you not to do the same. Mines a Monte Carlo edition with upgraded comp pack EDC (MC's have the Comp springs as well), GTS gearbox software. Some Other bits. The V8 drew me in and the E92 M3 is at a funny time of its life, I figured...
I vote G101 with very warm water. Only time I ever find snowfoam useful is post machine polish, even then I usually just eave it till the next wash to remove any dust. Total gimmik.
How about this absolute bargain?

Almost petrol blue right???
What do you make of the CAE mate?
Struggling to justify one. Might do that cheap mod and see how it feels.
Also lower dog bone mount, that made a difference?
The gearbox and engine intertia are a bit annoying at times.
Visited family for Easter so made the run to Malton, cant be fucked to link the photos, album is here if anyone is interested.

Looks great, this is and always has been my favorite Clio 200. I would have those spacers 5mm or so shorter but whatever it looks legit.
How do you find the pole positions compared to the sportster (i know they arent fitted to the car I did read)...
Pistonheads, sorry, but a few CS members always turn up. Its a busy meet and actually Im tempted to not go due to the number of people that turn up now. But I am up in Yorkshire anyway and the drive alone will be worth it.
Its at the malton Porsche garage (which is also near the BMW garage)...
How rapid are we talking? I really want a sigma engined Supersport Caterham. 140hp. They seem to go like stink. Can only imagine a Kseries with 185hp would go like buggery.
Looks good :) I bought mine outright and I am glad I did as not sure what Id replace it with. I'd not want to hand it back.
You mentioned suspension... do you find it reacts to bumps ok as I always think it takes too long to settle down after hitting a hole in the road or man hole cover etc...
I used to place them on a concrete floor, douse them with an all purpose cleaner, scrub the s**t out of them then pressure wash (with caution) the solution and dirt out of them. Then wet Vac, then spray with fabric freshener and leave to dry in the sun.
Now i just buy new mats.
Thanks, I decided on a Nilfisk again cant remember the model. Didn't want the hassle of servicing the Kranzle as you say would have been a ball ache. Has a long hoze and I have indeed used it to hoze down the path.
The DI vessel is producing 91PPM now. Last time I checked was probably December...
Might fit someone's absolute or desired budget for monthly running costs. Looks. Preference. Might be saving up for something. Who knows. I ran a MK3 GT Clio rather than a 197/200 because as a 20 year old student earning £620 a month the bigger engine, consumables, tax and fuel economy would...
I apply G1 once a year. Usually in the spring. Got my windows sealed up the week I got the car. G1 for the front and rears and Rain Racer for the sides.
Assuming you want decent water behavior and durability a sealant based QD rather than a carnuba one.
Z8, Turbo detailer, C2v3. Sonax BSD. Car Pro reload. Sure there are plenty more.
My pick would be Sonax turbo detailer or C2V3. As I have been discussing on this page C2V3 has a nicer finish...
I got drunk Saturday night and among buying random s**t (like a squirrel trap) I bought some more BTBM 250ml. I rate it above any other car wash, mainly because it deals well with surrey brick dust water and doesnt leave anything behind. I actually used gwash once years back when I tried out...
So ive switched over to C2V3 after raving about Turbo Detailer for years. ....... Not sure which I prefer. Both require careful application else streaks, C2 better finish but Turbo better beading, and I think better as a QD also.
And trying a bottle of Gwash as BTBM has run out
