The general opinions I've heard suggests that despite being slightly more "common", liquid yellow ones command higher prices than petrol blue.

Any truth in this? I did see a petrol blue go for £2500 in December/January, and I haven't seen a liquid yellow one down at that price - ever.

Petrol blue is more discreet and lesser known, even within the Clio fraternity, so some may be sold for less due to the lack of knowledge.

LY is more shouty thus more likely to draw attention.

Imagine a Lamborghini Aventador in Petrol blue versus a liquid yellow. Most would adore the yellow, but the rarity and being more discreet with the blue will appeal to others.

When you put it like that, I see where you're coming from. It's a difficult choice between petrol blue and liquid yellow, mind.

With only using my GoPro for track days and Ski Holidays it seems like a waste to not use it for something different.

The past few weeks iv been playing around getting shots of the car, and then the weekend just gone whilst stuck at home on call iv mashed them all up into a video.

Let me know what you think. Plan on a few more

I'll be coming into the market for a PB one in the next couple of months, so if any of you are thinking about selling around that time then please let me know.

Join the club. I'm on the lookout for one now but not paying the money Apex want.

I didn't know if the Apex one was still for sale. The fact that it is tells you that it is around £1k (at least) overpriced. It's not exactly a low miler either. I'll have a hefty budget and the Apex one is certainly affordable to me, but I'm not in the game of having the wool pulled over my eyes.

If it's coming to £5.5k, I'd rather look at Trophy's.

Yeah. I missed a 70k mile Trophy the other day for £5.5k. Trophy or PB for that money? Trophy all day.
I'd buy opticals old one if it was available.

Yeah, optical's is stunning. You're right though, I'll only pay Trophy money for a Trophy.

Alright guys,
My priorities have now changed, so you will find my petrol blue on eBay with a no reserve starting price of £3,500. Grab a bargain.
Cheers,
Tony

Good luck Tony. It's probably came too soon for me (still), but I can vouch that it'll be a good one.

If I was going for one it'd have be both cup packs and not in need of paint. To get the colour match on these are really difficult and could cost a pretty penny getting right, if able to get right at all.

Yes, it's a little like Ford imperial blue. A bigger to match, but possible. It would need a top end spray shop though. A cheap job would just cost more in the long run.

If this didn't sell I would be very interested. Currently looking for a petrol blue if anyone is tempted to sell. Thanks.

One on eBay. 292252986262
Paint match doesn't look great on NSF but could be the photo tbh.

Loss of paper work to show what's been done to her over the years. Clean little car ideally looking for 2200 but will listen to offers no wee fannys that think she's only worth penny's!

I’m quite confident the only fanny involved in any of this is the seller.

What an utterly cuntish advert.
