so this circlip welding idea,did it work?.

I've had the passenger side driveshaft jump out of the gearbox on 2 occassions(S-reg Clio 1.2 8v),the mechanic says theres not much gripping the driveshaft in to the box where the circlip goes,so does anyone know the answer to stopping this happening again,thanks.

I've got a S-reg Clio 1.2 8 valve and the passenger side driveshaft keeps popping out of the gearbox,it's been lowered a bit and the mechanic that puts it back in says there is not a lot of grip where it goes into the gearbox with the circlip,anyone had this problem before?.any ideas greatly...
