He's telling you absolute rubbish, from my experience on SUL the Monaro will get 22mpg and the 200 32mpg with similar driving, these numbers are not the same.

That car is the biggest shed I've ever seen, worth only scrap value to anyone other than one with sentimental value! I'm still looking forward to seeing you put it back to an acceptable condition though :-)

There's a little green light (think it's a gear stick pic) that flashes on the dash at the same time as the beep.

My 200 Cup has from new and will only be run on 98RON fuel. On all my past cars the increase in economy pays for the difference.

In a Clio 200 the 32" LED I just bought went straight in the boot (whilst boxed) and just about covered all available boot floor space, no need to put the seats down or remove the parcel shelf :)

No idea - But I have never seen a 197 person claim the mpg many of the 200 folk are getting... so something is definitely different (all of mine have been calculated on tank full to tank full and the trip actually reads c.2mpg low). Wonder if anyone can answer what's changed?

34-36 mpg is pretty average in my 200 as well (over 10k miles), not bad really and much better than I expected, expecially when you read the million poor mpg threads on the Clio III... It must be better than the 197 as that really does get hammered on here?

TBH £200 is such a small amount it's strange to say 'I have it and want to spend it on my car'.... Sounds like you'd be better banking the money for a rainy day, they're always just around the corner.

My philosophy is quite different - Just bargain particularly hard for cash paid in one go upfront and do it at the end of a quarter when they're chasing sales figures. Tell their regional sales manager you know they get a sales bonus based on numbers of cars sold and you'll take one at cost...
