turning signal is amber. I've been looking into quotes none have gotten back to me yet. I wouldn't imagine how a Renault Clio would not be legal to drive in the states considering there are other foreign cars I've seen around the streets in the States. Take for instance Integra Type R's from...
Hello, as the title reads, I am moving back to the states next Thurs 18th Feb, I want to export my 172, can anyone give me any advice on the legalities of having a 172 in the States? Also, reliable shippers?
While trying to carefully slide out the OEM Renault filter for an itg filter I was too lazy to remove the last top corner screw, which caused the airbox to crack up at the top.
Will this be a problem? Can I drive like this, or should I go out and buy a new airbox/try to seal the cracked bit...
really depends on which garage you take it to, each garage charges different amounts per hour, best idea would be to call and check to see what their labour per hour charge is.
Should only need aux belt changed at 36k, 72k for cam belt, people on here split between the two and do a complete belt change ie pulleys, tensioner belts mid-way between the two at 40kish
Sod it, I'm goign to try to find some cheap ones on ebay, can anyone tell me if these being 185/60/15r will fit my cup? The only thing I'm worried about is the 60 diameter possibly rubbing, can anyone confirm 60 diameter will be okay?
Hi guys, I've decided to undergo the task of refurbing my own turinis. I know, I know - take it to a specialist, but I like the personal satisfaction of doing it myself, not to include the fact I could use the £200 it cost to refurb the wheels.
That being said I've read the guide and it seems...
Hi guys,
I purchased my cup in mid-November from a used auto dealer. The turinis were in a bad state when I bought the car, they were scratched and curbed to hell. I've now noticed the laquer on all four wheels have began to peel and a bit of corrosion occuring on the inner portions of the...
Note to all, do not try to put "inside" stickers on a very cold morning. I even taped a ruler on the outside since the top brake light is approx 30.5 cm. There was meant to be 4.5cm from the edge of the taped ruler, but with cold hands, and the actual sticker being "frozen" it was a pain, I even...
12 years of driving and I have never been in any sort of accident. Tried to parallel park between two SUVs. I didn't notice the pole....:(
After crying on the inside I decided to do something productive:
Sticker was put on today.
So...anyone want to recommend me a good bodyshop in...
I'm with yah Steve, but from what I read braided ones would be more for track cars rather than daily drivers? Unless the daily drivers want to look cool? I may buy a set just for kicks....
Just be careful not to break anything, when I did it on my 03' the plastic clips seemed to still be good, follow the guide and you shouldn't have any problems.
Iin some cases, just as Oliver said, you could be fixing any rattles you might have now! I have not had any rattles and it fits nice...
Could also be water getting inside the locking mechanism and freezing. Had this happen to me when it start freezing over here. If thats the case they sell little lock deicers, or just park so the sun shines on the gas cap area to melt the ice.
This site was recommended to me by a locksmith:

Type in your post code and it'll give you a list of reliable auto lock smiths in your area. It's worth a try, I only paid 100 quid versus the 147 quid the Renault Dealer wanted.
I was in the same boat as you, decided I needed new speakers, so I bought the straight swap pioneer ones which plug straight in. My biggest concern was the dash removal. There's a comprehensive dash removal tutorial in the guides section. Its a lot easier than you would think, took me less than...
Hey guys, my company has a 51 plate DCi clio they are going to junk, I wanted to know if the spare tyre the DCi comes with will fit the cup?
I'd rather have a spare than use the inflators.
It's all about winter driving skills. I've been driving for 12 years now, mostly in north east United States where the snow can get up to waist high, but most occassions knee high and have never managed to get into an accident.
Driving my cup really has not been much of a difference. I think...
I'm 28 and fell out of modding after spending thousands with not much to show for. I feel it's a time sink and a waste of hard earned money at this point in my life. I'd rather have a car that performs well stock and looks good. At this point I think detailing and maintaining it's beauty should...
Biohzrd - this guide was done by a guy from the states so the paint stripper he used might need to be sourced, but I'm pretty sure something similar would be available over here, here's his guide on polishing the valve cover:

Yes, as MT Audio said, it is not a genuine one, the Alpine KCA-420i which has the wires AND the silver alpine module cost somewhere around 100 quid, the above wire which was bought from ebay was only $8.00. Supposedly, they work in similar fashion, the only exception being that the ipod is not...
So I picked up one of these alpine ipod adapters off of ebay (the ones that do not have the module). Here's a picture of what I got:
So, the obvious plugs are the one which attaches to the cd changer on the back of the HU, another is the ipod connector. the other two I'm unsure about. I...
Yup, a renault dealer can get a hold of it for you. But be forewarned, they typically do not have the item in stock and will have to order it from FRance. I ordered a mondial blue touch-up pen almost 2 weeks ago and they still have yet to receive it.
