    100 octane gasoline

    This is something new here...(in portugal) 100octane gasoline.. BP says it even gives more power to the car.. is it possible(i thoght?? One thing is sure, for cars like the clio 172 "sense" if octane level is lower than 98 and cut some power, with this new 100octane clio will always be...

    skip skip skip....(172)

    F*ck.. has anyone the same problem?? My cd player (reaults standart for 172) skips a lot.. when on a bumpy road, when stoped, when accelarating, when curving...jjjeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. is this a known problem to renault?? my brother has a 172 to and the same problem..

    too rich or too lean, any problem

    is there any problem in mixture running to lean or too rich?? or are the only problems: too rich....consummes too much,,,, too lean......loss of power?? Im thinking of that because of a probable project for a turbo for my 172RS.. Thanks..

    Ive been talking to one of the staff (mechanic) of one team of clio cup here in portugal, asking for what can i do to get a better response from my clio rs.. The answer was: cams, filter, chip... for 180-185hp (more 20hp..) And he said the the car will never be the same.. but he reffered...

    Does anyone got a progressive nos control thats based on RPM?? (insted of time) For those that have a time based progressive control.. Does there exist any device that can make you nos only start flowin form "for example" 4800rpm?? Thanks...

    Ive Got an Clio RS 172.. Ive seen about 100topics here but im still confused.. What would you do? Nos kit(40hp progressive) or filter+superchip+exaust+cams Is a jet of 40hp(nos) dangerous to this engine?? Its for an "intensive use..like an turbo.. more than 20-30sec shots...
