Just a thought! did you put the correct type plugs in? did it do this before you change them? if i recall correctly the 172 uses iridium or platinum tipped plugs!

Hi all,i have noticed that most PH1 172's steering wheels are scrap! i looked at 5 before i bought mine! ones with as little as 53k and still knackered:dapprove: i ended up buying one with 90k and its in nice condition! how? does it mean itswell looked after or dodgey? Cheers Lee

I had an Evo 7 FQ300 was doing 310 standard so was pleased! had it remapped to they said 360 but on the rollers only managed 347bhp! But yes even totally standard would murder any 172! wet or dry! from lights, motorway whatever! silly quick cars! wish i still had it now!:(
