So did i, intill i had to ride it in snow, ice rain ect ect. for the 3 days of sun england gets a year its a bit too expensive to be sat in the garage.
Kinda regret selling it to be honest but a week after i did rossi signed for Ducati, so would have lost about £500 of its value. haha. so glad i sold it when i did. will hopefully be replacing it with a gixxer thou / zx10 R or Blade this year. anyway, back to the car, as regards to the badges...
Hi all. been on here for a while and still havnt got any pictures of my car on here yet. so here goes, i just got a new job so hopefully i can afford to change this into a bit of a progress thread. Well, i bought my silver Clio 182 about 7 months ago. I Traded in this against it.
since i've had...
Hi guys, i've done a search on here and none of the threads have really helped me. i fitted a pipercross induction kit to my 182 on friday, last night it felt like it was firing on 3 cylinders and the orange EML was flashing, i stopped, reset the ignition and the light stopped flashing, but...
make a plate up from, alluminium if possible, about 6 to 8 inches long, the same shape of the bumper to cover the crack, rivvet it on the inside, fill the crack, wait for it to go off then drill the rivvets out, remove the plate, fill the drill holes and fibreglass the inside.
hi all. a friend is having prombems with there 1.4 16V clio ph2 which i am going to have a look at tonight, but just wanted an idea of what the fault could be before i go. all the info i have is that a 'funny light' is coming on the dash which looks like a coil spring with a zig zag line...
just pulled up on the drive, pulled the handbrake on and it made a bang sound and shot up to a verticle position, handbrake still seems to be holding slightly and releases as normal, did i snap my cable or something else?
As in the title really, i fitted lowering springs and cup shocks to my car over christmas and now i dont need the standard bits. i have standard 182 front shock's and standard 182 springs all round. how much should i put em on ebay for? there all good quality, shock's arnt leaking and springs...
Not for me. i traded in my 56 plate yamaha R6 after 2 years of ownership for the car. doing the sensible thing as a few people i know were killed on bikes last year. the reason i bought the car is for me. and no one else. i like it. and thats all there is to it really. my friends are all on...
I booked a holiday in january. saved early part of the year. so im off to spain next tuesday for 10 days. when i come back, then my savings will be used to insure my car. i planned it all out well in advance. (except for the saving for insurance part. left that a bit late)
i had a VTR for about a year at 17 and i was paying £1,300 on that. and that was worth £600. so to insure a £6000 clio 182 for an extra £200 sounds good to me :)
yeahh. im quite happy with the quote to be honest. considering its fully comp. 'gaz44, because everyone is different. its not like im paying it for a 1.1. its a 2.0 and im 18. its the car i want so why not pay it while im young and dumb enough to afford it.
Well, started saving up for my insurance today on my 182. :( i've decided to pay it all in one lump as opposed to monthly as i refuse to give insurance companys any more than i have to. £1,500. cant wait till its all sorted. the cars been sat on the drive waiting for about a month.
if you've just had the engine replaced do you think its possible that the garage have dropped some washers or nuts in the chassis and forgot about them? start on the cheepest things first.
i hope this works...

If you remove fuse 22 from the fusebox in the right hand side of the boot it locks the exhaust butterfly valves open, giving them that awesome aston roar from very low revs, rather than quiet below 2500 rpm then a roar after as the valves open.
ummmm. aha. i think it would be better if i post pictures of it and you tell me what its got. as far as i know, its not a cup. but i could be mistaken.
