Hi, I'm thinking of selling my 172 cup. It's currently in the body shop as an old fart bumped the bumper but it needs cambelt/aux belt/dephaser pulley and a service. I'm just a little unsure whether to pay odd £600 odd for the above to sort it then sell it OR sell it as is? Thanks Tom

Hi, I'll be honest...I don't really have a clue on car detailing. I wash my car and occassionally use SPR on it then I think "WOW..look at all the scratches etc" Can someone please help me in what stuff to use i.e. clay, wax and gloss? I had a read this morning and it seems to be like this...

Hi, my car seems to occasionally not start (only recently), sounds a lot like a diesel, and just is running a little "off" to me. I don't have much experience with fixing cars but after what I've been reading I think it needs a set of plugs, also cambelt/aux belt with dephaser pulley too...

Been reading some guides / advice regarding headlight correcting.....a lot of people say a polisher is a must!? Just wondering if an average halfrauds polisher is good enough with some scrtach x? something like these...

Has anyone ever experienced a noise problem with their alternator belt/pulley? Mine (cup 172 52 plate) seems to sound like a diesel whilst idle, but once it's being drove it seems fine? Any suggestions as I don't fancy the garage just yet? Cheers in advance, Tom

Hi, quite new to this but was thinking of upgrading my panel filter (sounds simple enough) but a little unsure on where I could get some air intake pipes from, and where would be best to put them? My guess is towards the wheel arches or behind the grill? Cheers, Tommy B :)
