yea you cant beat it, from where you are you may aswell pop down to AMD essex, pretty decent down there with tuning!! especially on the 1.8 T engines!

i think there all generaly alittle umpy on idle and just after start up mate!! also think theresa restriction on the revs aswell until engine is warm, but dont quote me on that

Thinking about stripping my 172 early in the new year, how easy is this to do and how much time should i allow to do something like this? Just in case i want to convert it back to standard at some point? Once done im expecting to hear a few rattles but is the results worth doing considering...

Yea same mate, i have an aftermarket exhaust and mines lumpy when idle too. I had my mot and one of my lamda sensors needed replacing this seemed to make it 'less lumpy' but that could of been a phsycological thing lol
