Clio 172 gone ..... new car in!!

well i decided that i wanted to go back to a turbo, preferably back to a 1.8 T so it was time to let the 172 go!!

Heres its replacement...

Looks nice that, I sold my original clio cup for a leon cupra r, I'd have a Seat again :approve:

This is my second Cupra now my first being arctic grey and around the same BHP and really regretted getting rid of that!! just missed the BOOOOST!!!

My friend has a Cupra R with similar mods, love the way the boost comes in with just the stage 1 that he has! Definately getting a stage 1 for my Audi!

yea you cant beat it, from where you are you may aswell pop down to AMD essex, pretty decent down there with tuning!! especially on the 1.8 T engines!

Should have boosted the Clio. That's the man option.

However, that is very tidy.

i had a ibiza cupra with ko3s coversion and i much prefer my clio 182 i would never go back to one now the clio looks and handles so much better

They're alright them Cupras, but my god they're boring to drive LOLz. I had one a few years ago running similar power to yours and it felt lifeless, standard turbo is useless.
They can take abuse all day everyday though, just make sure you've got a MAF and a spare coil pack in the glove box

Nice car, having owned a similar Cupra I would take a 172cup over it anyday- but everyones different! Got some spare coilpacks in the boot?

cheers for comments, the turbo dont seem to be too lifeless on this one lol!! spools up pretty rapid with 274lbs of torque on dyno print off
