yes thats exactly right well im missin the proper bolt and the domed spacer because someone has cut down a bolt and used like 6 normal screw spacer to make up the thickness of the domed one, so can they be bought from renault then?

no i think it was the grooved one think the smooth one had one already

yea i think thats the one its got like a cone shape at the end fits into the idler

i got a mechanic over to do a foreigner to change my cambelt on a clio 172 2001 with a brand new kit and when he removed all the tensioners and pulleys he noticed that somebody who must have had the car in the past had bodged one of the pulleys on with a cut down bolt and instead of the genuine...

hi does anybody know how to loosen a clutch on a clio sport 172 01 plate its dead stiff and squeaks quite a bit when pushed down anybody know how to loosen it or at least stop it squeaking? thanks

hi when i change gear to slow down i can hear a slight banging comin from the gear box, to me it sounds as though the gear box could be sort of loose, has anybody had the same problem? let me know thanks i have a clio 172 01 plate.

yea thats exactly how it sounds and yea u cant hear it once ur driving or its over 2.000 rpm, well i need a new cambelt n aux belt doin so ill get it all done in one go if thats the problem, cheers ducman
