Mounting JC5 gearbox instead of JB3
If the gear ratios are slightly different is not so important (if they are a little "longer" than the JB3 is even better), what really important is are the connection between gearbox and motor and between gearbox and chassis.- bambom

Mounting JC5 gearbox instead of JB3
I have a 1.6 16v, Mk2 Ph1, the gearbox is a JB3. Now it's giving me some troubles so I'm looking around for a usaed JB3 gearbox to fit but...I've found none of them or the prices are reeeeeally too high. JC5 gearboxes are instead quite cheap and I founded lots of it. So here's the question: do...- bambom
