Its not just individuals they don't give a s*&t about. Our company spends 7-8K a year on 5 handsets. Been with them 5 years and the only phones we can have on upgrade are the entry level ones. Similair to PAYG.
As a business customer with less than 10 hansets we can't even speak to the...
My brother is looking for a 1.2 clio as his first car. Looking at 1995/1996 models.
Weve found a couple for around the 1k mark with 50/60k on the clock.
Is there anything in particulair we should be looking for? Rust etc?
Also what insurance companies are the best for new drivers? Best...
.....until I only have one star and no clio.
Ill still pop in from time to time! This is still the BEST car forum Ive found and hopefully Ill still be welcome once the clio has gone
Cheers Potster
If you buy a 172/182/V6 MK2 you have no choice. They come fitted as standard and unless you want to do alot of work to your car you aint going to be moving away from them.
try these people if you HAVE to pay.

£50 cheaper than renault. Might be able to get them even cheaper if you shop around.
Some one on here was selling a pair of xenon headlights for £100. Not sure if they came with bulbs...
Yikes how simple do you want this?
Its an example of two similair products that cant really be compared. How can anyone say which is better lager or bitter, all personal preference & tastes.
I dont think you can define these cars by using the word "Better"
"Different" would be a BETTER word to use.
Trying to compare them is like saying which is better larger or bitter? It all comes down to personal tastes.
Just my two peneth worth....
Go second hand, Ive just been offered £9,500 for my 8 month old UK car :( in a trade in!
Not bad only lost £500 per month of ownership so far! (Thank fook I didnt pay list price)
Thank you Tom.
Now here is food for thought! And this is a question before I get shot down in a hail of bullets.
Did Reno find that the 172 wasnt selling that well due to the reasonably high price, so they thought let create a cheaper cut down version (that isnt going to cost a fortune to...
Having driven both cars, I would say the differences are all down to driver preferance!
Standard 172 = Full fat, lardy! I love mine but I guess Im getting old as the leather, climate, traction control, xenons etc appealed to me I like getting places a fraction of a second or two later in more...
Yeah I was thinking that, but there seems to be some gaffer tape around the holes thats been cut in the bonnet!? Perhaps this has something to do with the filter???
Dont think Ill be going for this conversion myself :o mind you if its for real it must of cost a packet for the R1 Carbs.
does it sound like its coming from just behind the drivers footwell?
Happens quite alot when accelerating and letting off in gear (i.e. 1st & 2nd while in traffic)???
Sorry for all the Qs, but Ive had this for a while and its driving me mad.
P.S Are you coming down to the Yorks meet on...
Not trying to Hi-Jack the thread but what size speakers are they in the Clio?
Are you still running the standard Head Unit?
Has it made much difference?
Have you had new tyres on the car since new? The reason I ask is I read somewhere about one of the major tyre companies fitting directional tyres the wrong way....must of been the work experience lad?
Just a thought...
You could try Nicolas Smiths of Skipton (bit closer to you)
They had a Black Mk1 for about 8K I think. Not sure if they still have it but their number is 01756 792277.
Cheers Potster
Rich, your from Burnley area arent you!? Which dealer has the Mk2?
They have a Mk1 in at Kellbrock cars which I may look at if your familiar with them?
I think the next step is to drive one then decide if it would be worth it.
